Q/A with Jack Friks

Founder, post bridge

What is post bridge?

post bridge is a social media scheduling tool I originally made just for myself to use to help me scale my mobile apps marketing. Then I realized that 1000s of other founders need it too, and at a fair price per channel since all other alternatives were crazy expensive.

What problem does post bridge solve?

post bridge helps people post content everywhere from one place, saves them time, effort, and a lot of money compared to having a VA do it manually or doing it themselves. I also help generate marketing content for their social media.

Who's your target audience?

Mainly small teams and solo-founders

How are you better than the alternatives?

post-bridge is cheaper, simpler, and friendlier than anything out there :)

How did you get your first customers?

I tweeted the UI of it early on and hit 1k likes which was very lucky but. anyone can:
- Share what their working on
- See if anyone bites
- Build more if people seem interested

How are you growing today?

twitter

twitter

How many users do you have?

Currently have ~6,200 users (used to have free plan) and 1,000+ paying customers

How do you make money & how much do you make?

post bridge currently makes around $11k/Month and has made over $50k in the last 12 months (post bridge only launched in October 2024). Charging yearly subscriptions upfront at a big discount helps inject revenue while also adding new MRR from monthly subscriptions. I also offer a 7 day free trial as i have no free plan (but they must enter credit card number).

What's one thing you believe about building startups that almost no one agrees with you on?

Competition is a lie, it just means validation. Focus on yourself, you are much more likely to kill your business than someone else is.

What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone just starting out?

Build things you would use and pay for, scratch your own itch!

What's next for you?

Keep going
