TableAI is an AI-powered native macOS database client designed for developers, data analysts, and database administrators. Built-in AI features come first: an intelligent SQL assistant understands your database schema, relationships, indexes, and table metadata to generate accurate SQL, explain queries, optimize performance, and answer database questions in natural language. The AI database agent can perform multi-step analytical and data exploration tasks while using the same database-aware context. You choose your preferred AI provider by supplying your own API key, with direct support for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Alibaba, and OpenRouter. Beyond AI, TableAI provides a complete database management experience with fast data browsing, inline editing, filtering, sorting, CRUD operations, schema exploration, and support for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and SQLite over direct, SSH, or SSL connections. Database administration tools include active session monitoring, lock analysis, table sizes, VACUUM and ANALYZE operations, slow query analysis, index usage statistics, server configuration inspection, schema DDL viewing, and AI-powered database health reports with actionable optimization recommendations. Privacy and security are fundamental. TableAI contains no third-party SDKs, collects no user data, and connects directly from your Mac to your databases. There is no intermediary service between your machine and your data.
